Christopher Locklear is honored to participate in the 2025 Rural Summit. A proud North Carolina native and member of the Lumbee Tribe, Mr. Locklear is a graduate of the Rural Center’s Homegrown Leaders program. With a decade of experience in real estate and property management, he serves as Broker-in-Charge and co-owner of Liberty Realty Group, LLC, based in Red Springs, North Carolina.

Through his work with landowners, property owners, and downtown revitalization groups in Robeson County, Mr. Locklear has witnessed firsthand the impact of rural development and preservation efforts. His commitment to strengthening local municipalities and positioning communities for a prosperous future continues to drive his passion for rural progress.

He currently serves with the Red Springs Rotary Club (President), Red Springs Chamber of Commerce Board (President), Red Springs Planning Board (Board Chair), Pembroke Area Chamber of Commerce (Board member), Administrative Court for The Lumbee Tribe of NC (Justice), and the Robeson County Partnership for Children (Board Chair).
