Lynn Davis

Town of Belhaven
Lynn Davis is the Town Manager of Belhaven, North Carolina, where she has served for the last 6 years. She is a certified floodplain manager and certified zoning official. Prior to her leadership role as Town Manager, Davis served as the Tourism Development Director for the City of Washington, North Carolina for 15 years. As a native of rural Beaufort County, she has a lifetime of experience in a rural setting and learning how to do more with less. She will tell you her “soapbox” is rural communities being held to the same standards as metropolitan areas. Davis is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is also a Civic Fellow and a graduate of the Rural Center’s Homegrown Leaders program. She lives in beautiful Belhaven with her husband. They have 2 grown children.
