The Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC) provides management counseling and educational services to small and mid-size businesses and promising startups. Most of our services are free of charge and all are confidential. By providing entrepreneurs with the tools they need to build and grow successful businesses, the SBTDC positively impacts the local and statewide North Carolina economy. Since 1984, we have served over 150,000 NC business owners and entrepreneurs. The SBTDC is administered by NC State University on behalf of the UNC System and is operated in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
