About the Rural Summit

Each spring, our Rural Summit brings hundreds of rural champions together to learn about our rural communities and explore what we can do together to make a difference. Nearly 650 people attended our Summit last year to hear about the issues forcing change in rural communities. This year's Summit will focus on infrastructure - needs, successes, and the future.

The Rural Center’s annual Rural Summit will take place March 26-27, 2026, at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley. Our event offers a unique opportunity for local and state leaders to come together in conversation and celebration to engage in a thoughtful, intentional dialogue about what we can do to advance cooperation and change in our state.
