Mr. Dana Magliola, MBA
Sr. Director, Infrastructure Competitiveness
NC Chamber Foundation
Dana Magliola serves as Senior Director of Infrastructure Competitiveness for the North Carolina Chamber Foundation, where he leads the Foundation’s long-term strategy, planning, and research agenda across the full spectrum of infrastructure. Before joining the Chamber Foundation, Magliola led the North Carolina Department of Transportation’s Statewide Multimodal Freight and Logistics Program. He joined NCDOT in 2018 from NC State University, where he led the Supply Chain Resource Cooperative at the Poole College of Management and served as the supply chain management subject matter expert for the university’s Industrial Extension Service. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Magliola earned his MBA with a concentration in supply chain management from NC State University. Beyond his professional work in supply chain and infrastructure, he is the long-time volunteer head coach of NC State’s nationally ranked intercollegiate sailing team, and Commissioner of the South Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (SAISA). He also speaks frequently on youth leadership development through athletics. In 2024, he was inducted into the ICSA College Sailing Hall of Fame for lifetime achievement and volunteer service to the sport. Magliola lives in Raleigh with his wife and two sons.
