Reuben Blakley has served with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) for over 25 years and currently holds the position of Division Engineer for Division 8. Prior to this role, he gained extensive experience across multiple NCDOT units, contributing to several major economic development and infrastructure projects each exceeding $100 million in value. His project management background includes Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMGC), Design-Build, and traditional Design-Bid-Build delivery methods.
 
Reuben earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina A&T State University in December 2000 and is a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina. He resides in Liberty with his wife, Kristy, and their two children.
