Rick Houser is the North Carolina Market Executive and Senior Vice President at
Benchmark Community Bank. He has more than 40 years of experience in banking,
leadership and commercial lending across the state of North Carolina. Rick previously
served as Chief Credit Officer at Alliance Bank & Trust, Regional Supervisor at Fidelity Bank
and Commercial Calling Officer United Carolina Bank.

Rick holds a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University, and is a graduate of the
NC School of Banking, The Commercial Real Estate Lending School at East Carolina
University, The Babcock School of Management at Wake Forest University, and The
Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
